ODESSA — A racehorse named Six of Diamonds was stolen from her Odessa stable last week, and deputies are asking for the public's help in finding the thief.

Six of Diamonds is a 2-year-old female gray quarter horse, approximately 15 hands (60 inches) tall with a white stripe on her face. She is valued at $15,000.

She was being kept at Innfields Horse Community, not far from Tampa Bay Downs racetrack, when someone took her from her stable sometime between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday, deputies say.

One of the trainers noticed Saturday she was missing. The horse's owner lives in Indiana.

Deputies ask that anyone with information call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
