Riverview man arrested on 100 child pornography charges

RIVERVIEW — Hillsborough sheriff's detectives arrested a Riverview man Thursday on more than 100 child pornography charges after a search turned up numerous images on electronic devices in his home, authorities said.

Detectives obtained a warrant to search 12917 Rhodine Road, the home of 49-year-old Raymond Fernandez, which they raided early Thursday, officials said. They seized 17 computers and several other electronic devices that contained images of children, aged 1 to 17, engaging in sexual activities, authorities said.

Additional charges could come, pending a forensic review of the seized items, officials said.

Fernandez was booked in the Orient Road Jail and held on $750,000 bail.
