Second arrest made in Dade City armed robbery

DADE CITY — A second suspect has been arrested in the November robbery of a person at gunpoint.

Tyrell R. Sanders, 22, of 14735 11th St. in Dade City was arrested Thursday and is charged with robbery with a deadly weapon.

The incident happened at 1 p.m. Nov. 3 near Hampton and Roosevelt avenues, according to the Dade City Police Department. Sanders and Kinsey Carr, 24, of Dade City are accused of pointing a gun at the victim and robbing him of $6,000.

Carr was arrested Dec. 4 and was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and other charges. He is still in jail.

Sanders remained in the county jail Friday in lieu of $100,000 bail.
