ST. PETERSBURG — Police say a second suspect in the brawl and shooting outside Lundy's Liquor Store walked into police headquarters Thursday afternoon and turned himself in.

Demetrius Antwan Woods, 30, faces two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle and single counts of possession of a firearm as a felon, fleeing police and driving with a suspended license, police said.

Police had been looking for Woods since Aug. 23 after he was identified on surveillance video outside the business at 3084 18th Ave. S firing an assault rifle into a crowd. Police said one bullet pierced a paramedic's truck.

Police earlier arrested Richard Raheem Moore, 28, who they said tried to break up the fight but returned with a gun after he was struck in the face. After Moore's bullets flew, Woods jumped into a Chevrolet Malibu and also fired into the crowd, police said.

Moore later was arrested on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was freed in on $10,000 bail.

Two people in the crowd suffered gunshot wounds, which were not considered life-threatening.
