Seminole bank robbery suspect found dead in park

SEMINOLE — A man authorities were seeking in connection with a bank robbery was found dead this week in a park, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said. Transient Richard Plent, 51, whose body was discovered Friday morning in Millenium Park, 12410 74th Ave., is believed to have died from a drug overdose. Authorities do not consider his death suspicious, officials said. The Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy to determine an exact cause of death. Deputies had been trying to find Plent since Wednesday morning, shortly after they said he robbed a Bank of America at 6801 Seminole Blvd.
