DUNEDIN — Deputies said they arrested a 55-year-old Dunedin man on child pornography charges on Thursday.

Jeffrey Scott Allen faces 15 counts of possession of child pornography, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Deputies arrested him about 10:30 a.m. while he was attending a court hearing at the Pinellas County Justice Center, said sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Gross.

Detectives started the investigation in April, when they received information that Allen was in possession of the pornography. Investigators found several graphic videos and photos on Allen's iPhone, according to arrest reports.

Allen was already free on bail for a 2016 charge of video voyeurism involving a juvenile, according to the Sheriff's Office. That bail was revoked following Thursday's arrest. He was back in the Pinellas County jail on Friday being held without bail.
