South Tampa cigar shop robber broke through wall, police say

TAMPA — Gaspar's Cigar Shop on S West Shore Boulevard was robbed early Friday when one or more suspects forced their way in by knocking down one of the store's walls.

Sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 a.m., someone broke through the drywall of the store, at 3607 S West Shore Blvd., and took several items from storage lockers after disabling a keypad access lock, according to the Tampa Police Department. A Sony TV and several bottles of liquor were also stolen.

The suspect is still at large.
