A Spring Hill has man died after a vehicle collision on U.S. 41 on Feb. 17.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Kristen Pool, 22, of Brooksville, with Steven Hunter, 53, in the passenger seat, were exiting a driveway north of Bowman Road.

While they were pulling out, a truck driven by James Allen McCown, 44, of Dade City, was heading north and slammed into the left front side of Pool's Chevy Van.

Hunter was transported to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, the report said. He died Saturday.
