Woman faces drug, grand theft charges

An undercover drug operation led to the arrest of a 23-year-old student Wednesday.

Nicole Louise Andrews of Spring Hill faces six drug-related charges, including trafficking in crack cocaine and grand theft, according to Hernando County Sheriff's Office arrest reports.

She sold two grams of crack cocaine to an undercover sheriff's deputy on May 8. Authorities returned this week with a search warrant for her home on Edgehill Avenue and found 81 grams of crack cocaine in a closet and dresser drawer, the reports said.

Authorities also discovered a .38-caliber semiautomatic pistol, which they later determined was stolen from the Jacksonville area. The report did not indicate what school Andrews attends.
