St. Pete man arrested on child pornography charges

A St. Petersburg man was arrested Monday and charged with 15 counts of possession of child pornography.

According to arrest affidavits, police found sexually explicit videos of children when they raided the home where Robert L. Huff, 45, lived.

A St. Petersburg Police spokesman said police started monitoring Huff's internet activity after the Federal Bureau of Investigations flagged him. That investigation led to the discovery of the pornographic videos on Huff's computer.

Huff was booked into the Pinellas County Jail, where he remained Tuesday in lieu of $300,000 bail.
