St. Petersburg gas station robbed at gunpoint

ST. PETERSBURG – Police have released the video of a man who robbed a gas station Tuesday.

St. Petersburg Police say a man wearing a black ski mask entered an Exxon Station, 3334 15th Ave. S, at 10 p.m. with a large silver revolver and demanded cash.

The employee gave him cash from the register and then the man fled on foot. No vehicle was seen in the area.

Police said the suspect was a thin black male, wearing a long-sleeve white shirt and black military-style pants. Police said the suspect was wearing distinctive tennis shoes, white with a black border.
