SOUTH PASADENA — A St. Petersburg man suspected of driving drunk was arrested on additional charges after he kicked a Pinellas County deputy's window off its track and urinated in the deputy's cruiser Sunday morning, authorities said.

Bradley A. Yager, 22, of 4127 Eighth Ave. N was charged with driving under the influence, criminal mischief, resisting an officer, and lewd and lascivious behavior.

According to the reports, a deputy pulled Yager over on Pasadena Avenue S around 2 a.m. because he had a headlight out.

Yager refused to give a breath sample or do field sobriety exercises. But the deputy said his breath smelled of alcohol and he was stumbling and had bloodshot eyes.

The Pinellas County deputy handcuffed Yager and put him in the back of his cruiser, but Yager was able to pull the cuffs to the front of his body. Yager then pulled his pants down and urinated on the "seat, floor and police gear" in the vehicle, according to the reports. He also kicked at a rear window until the frame bent and the glass was pushed off its track, reports show. Damage to the car and gear was estimated at $560.

Yager was released from the Pinellas County Jail on his own recognizance Sunday afternoon.
