Man, 49, is accused of beating child with belt
A man has been charged with child abuse after authorities say he beat a child with a belt. Donald E. Pittman, 49, of 225 73rd Ave N, Unit 201, was arrested Friday. Investigators say Pittman whipped the child for taking food.
A day-care employee noticed the child covered in bruises.
Authorities didn't provide the child's name, age, gender, or relationship to Pittman.
