St. Petersburg man faces six counts of sexual battery

KENNETH CITY — A St. Petersburg man faces six felony counts of sexual battery based on accusations that he forced himself on multiple female victims as young as 13 years old in the bedroom of his apartment.

Jason William David Ranalli, 22, was arrested Saturday night. He was being held Sunday on $60,000 bail at the Pinellas County Jail.

According to arrest affidavits, at least two victims told Kenneth City police investigators that Ranalli had sex with them without their consent. Most of the alleged incidents took place between June and August 2012, affidavits state. One victim said she was 13 years old at the time.

Victims said they were battered in Ranalli's unit at the Colonial Oaks Apartments at 5255 62nd St. N in Kenneth City. Arrest reports list a St. Petersburg address as his current residence.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested Ranalli in 2006 on a misdemeanor burglary charge, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement records. A judge withheld adjudication in that case.
