ST. PETERSBURG — Police have arrested a man they say participated in a drive-by shooting earlier this week.

Keeron Conyers, 20, of St. Petersburg, faces an aggravated battery charge. Police said they are still looking for more suspects in the incident, which occurred Monday morning in the 4100 block of 18th Avenue S.

One man was injured in the shooting. Police said he was standing at a bus stop when a car drove by. Someone inside the car, which police said Conyers was driving, shot at the victim, hitting him in the leg.

He did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The shooter and the victim know each other, police said, and a preliminary investigation indicated the two may have been feuding about a woman.

Conyers was arrested shortly after noon Wednesday, according to an arrest affidavit.
