St. Petersburg police: Customer pulls gun on pizza deliveryman

ST. PETERSBURG — Alcohol and mental health issues may have led a St. Petersburg man to pull a gun on a pizza deliveryman Saturday, authorities said.

Police reports show Gregory William Shaw, 54, of 300 Second Ave. SE ordered food Saturday from Fortunato's Pizza.

The deliveryman showed up just before 12:30 p.m. He was completing the transaction when Shaw pulled a Glock 9 mm from under the sofa and pointed it at him, the police report shows.

Shaw was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated assault, a felony.
