ST. PETERSBURG — St. Petersburg police are searching for a man who robbed a SunTrust bank Monday afternoon.
The man went into the bank at 3601 34th St. N about 1:15 p.m. with a note demanding money, St. Petersburg police said. No one saw a weapon.
After he left the bank, the man may have been picked up by a vehicle, police said.
The man is about 30 years old, white, slender and about 5-foot-6. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and a blue New York Yankees baseball cap. He was carrying a blue and white backpack.
