ST. PETERSBURG — Police are looking for a man who robbed a local credit union Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened at about 10:22 a.m. at the Chartway Federal Credit Union at 6540 4th St. N, police said.
Bank employees told police that a lone man entered and implying that he was carrying a gun. No weapon was seen.
Bank employees handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the man left the credit union and fled northeast across 4th Street.
No one was injured.
The man was described as white, about 25 years old, 5 feet 10 with a thin build. He had blond, buzz cut hair.
