ST. PETERSBURG — Police said they seized guns and drugs from the home of Lewis Jeremiah Johnson, 42, in connection with the shooting reporting Monday.

Officers said they found Johnson shot in the abdomen near 15th Avenue S and 45th Street S after responding to a report of gunshots in the area at about 12:21 p.m.

But while St. Petersburg police on Tuesday announced the seizure of guns and drugs from his home at 4519 15th Ave. S, the agency did not say when that took place.

It was also unclear whether Johnson was still in a hospital. Police are still investigating the incident and did not release any other details.
