Man, 18, charged in stabbings at Clearwater mobile home park

CLEARWATER — Deputies arrested a Largo man suspected of stabbing two people inside their mobile home and who were taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Deputies responded to the Sun Terrace Mobile Home Park near the 5800 block of 150th Avenue N about 9 a.m. Saturday. Stephanie Santiago, 20, and Henry Minniefield, 23, had been stabbed in the chest.

Investigators identified Armando Sevilla-Cruz, 18, as a suspect, based on interviews with the victims and witnesses, authorities said.

Witnesses told deputies that an argument started after Sevilla-Cruz arrived at the mobile home and pulled out a knife.

Sevilla-Cruz reportedly ran away, but detectives later found and arrested him.

He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail and charged with two counts of attempted murder. He was held without bail.
