LARGO — A Seminole man authorities suspect of first-degree murder in a drug deal gone bad has been arrested by federal agents outside Atlanta, authorities said. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said that Eddie Jonathan Todd Walker, 24, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service at about 11 a.m. Thursday in Lithonia, Ga. Walker is a suspect in the shooting death of Largo resident Terrance Thomas, who was killed with a single gunshot to the head in April. Sheriff's detectives say that Walker killed Thomas during an argument over low-quality cocaine Thomas sold to him. Earlier this month, Walker escaped arrest when he fled from deputies on foot as they approached him. Gualtieri said the Sheriff's Office continues to investigate and that associates of Walker in Pinellas County could be charged for helping him elude capture and leave Florida. Walker was being held at the DeKalb County Jail in Georgia.
