Suspects in Halloween masks robbed Land O'Lakes store, still on lam, deputies say

LAND O'LAKES — Deputies are looking for two armed suspects who robbed a convenience store early Wednesday morning while wearing Halloween masks.

About 3:15 a.m., the suspects went into Radiant Convenience Store at 22826 S.R. 54 dressed in all black and wearing "Halloween type masks," a Pasco Sheriff's dispatch states. One of the assailants struck a store clerk in the back of the head with a gun butt and ordered workers into a bathroom.

The suspects fled in a white Chrysler 300 down Collier Parkway with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No more information was immediately available.
