Sheriff's deputies surround home

A SWAT team was called to a Zephyrhills home Friday evening after two suspects accused of robbing a New Port Richey residence this week barricaded themselves inside, Pasco County sheriff's deputies said.

Deputies went to 36440 Chancey Road to question the suspects, sheriff's spokeswoman Melanie Snow said. One man, whose name has not yet been released, was taken into custody. Two other people at the home, who are possibly armed, had not responded late Friday to the SWAT team. "We hear them talking," Snow said, "so we know they're inside." Deputies still had the home surrounded.
