Tampa man critical after shooting outside bar early Friday

TAMPA — Deputies are looking for a suspect who shot a Tampa man in front of a bar on 56th Street early Friday.

The shooting happened near the Tally Ho Bar and Grille Pub, 7402 N 56th St., at 3:15 a.m. Friday.

Hillsborough County deputies said the man shot Peter Hyman, 28, of E 122 Ave., following an argument inside the pub.

The suspect drove away in a car that looked like a black Cadillac Escalade from the 1990s, deputies said.

Hyman was in critical condition Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Hyman, who previously has been arrested on drug charges and domestic battery, was most recently arrested in January and charged with possession of cocaine.

Deputies ask anyone with information about the shooting to call the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at toll-free 1-800-873-8477.
