Tampa police charge registered sex offender with 69 counts of using a computer to access child pornography

TAMPA — Police arrested a registered sex offender Tuesday and charged him with downloading numerous pornographic images involving children.

Stephen D. Olman Jr., 31, of 2815 N Morgan St. was charged with 69 counts of use of a computer for lewd or lascivious purposes, arrest records show.

He was convicted of sexual battery in Pinellas County in 1999 and served three years in prison. He served another three years for violating his probation in 2004.

Olman was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail with bail set at $517,500.
