TAMPA — Police have found the car they believe to have been involved in a hit-and-run crash Sunday that critically injured a 21-year-old man.

Tampa police detectives found the gray Acura TL with a missing right-side mirror, police said Tuesday, and are working to determine who was driving it early Sunday morning.

Vincent A. Lanci, 21, was crossing N Howard Avenue at North A Avenue at 3:12 a.m. when he was hit by the car. Lanci remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday at Tampa General Hospital.
