TAMPA — Police are searching for a woman they say is part of an identity theft and auto burglary ring.

Last week, police arrested four people on auto burglary charges. Now they are trying to identify and locate one more. The woman, who detectives believe was working with those arrested, cashed several stolen checks from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 in the Tampa area using stolen identification, police said.

The woman, who may live in the Orlando area, stole checks, credit cards and identification on Aug. 19 from a vehicle parked at the Shapes Fitness Center at 3808 W Swann Ave. and on Sept. 8 from a vehicle parked at 4522 S Dale Mabry Highway, police said.

Surveillance video shows the woman at a Tampa Suncoast Federal Credit Union depositing stolen checks, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Tampa police at (813) 231-6130.
