TAMPA — Have you seen a man paying for things with money colored red? If so, police want your help.
A robber wearing a ski mask and clothed in black held up a Pilot Bank teller at gunpoint about 3 p.m. Thursday and demanded cash, police said.
The teller at the bank, at 7635 N Bruce B. Downs Blvd., gave him money — with a dye pack hidden inside.
Detectives asked that businesses in the area be alert for anyone paying for merchandise with red-colored money.
