CLEARWATER — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested two gang members and another man on drug and gun charges after executing a search warrant Thursday morning.
Authorities said they had received more than 10 complaints about drug dealing and gang activity over the past year at the home at 1455 Lime St.
Detectives seized OxyContin, marijuana, a handgun and a shotgun from the single-family home, sheriff's Lt. Kent Viera said.
Arrested were Wesley Gearhart, 28, his brother, Casey Gearhart, 20, and Michael Carwile, 28.
The investigation revealed that Wesley Gearhart and Michael Carwile met in prison and are both members of the Gangster Disciples.
Wesley Gearhart was charged with two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, one count of felon in possession of ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $40,250 bail.
Casey Gearhart was charged with possession of Roxicodone and marijuana and is being held at the jail in lieu of $2,250 bail.
Carwise was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and is being held at the jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
