TAMPA — A fire Wednesday afternoon left three children uninjured, authorities said.
The fire at 2315 W Woodlawn Ave. just after 4 p.m. was quickly contained by Tampa Fire Rescue. Two of the children had been home with a friend at the time, but all three escaped unharmed.
The family who lived there will be staying with relatives, Tampa Fire Rescue said. There were no smoke detectors in the home. The estimated value of loss is approximately $40,000.
