TAMPA — Three men were arrested Monday night after police patrolling Robles Park Village caught them in a drive-by shooting, police said.
The shooting was reported about 11 p.m. near Lake and Central avenues when police officers saw a gray Crown Victoria approach the intersection. The men inside fired several rounds out of the window before heading west on E Lake Avenue, Tampa police said.
The officers pursued the car, which crashed near Indiana and Florida avenues. The three men inside ran away from the car.
One shooter was quickly arrested. The others continued to run. A K-9 eventually located them hiding under two houses in the 3600 block of Arlington Avenue.
Officers recovered the Crown Victoria, stolen in Hillsborough County, and two firearms.
The shooters were identified as Deeric Moore, 18, Floyd Rivers, 27, and James Scott, 16. They face charges that include obstructing an officer and trespassing.
