Three men rob St. Petersburg convenience store at gunpoint

ST. PETERSBURG — Police are looking for three men who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

The men, two with handguns, walked into Hip Hop Station, 3711 Fifth Ave. N, about 5 p.m.

At least two of the men approached a cashier and demanded money. They left in a dark-colored vehicle.

The men wore sweatshirts with hoods, and their faces were covered. No other description was immediately available.

Investigators have not linked this case to a string of four recent St. Petersburg armed robberies, citing differences they would not disclose because they are part of an active investigation.
