ZEPHYRHILLS — Three teens were arrested Saturday after, deputies say, they set three fires in an RV park, causing thousands in damage.
Spencer Callahan Burton, 18, and two 17-year-old boys who are not being named due to their age, were drinking before they set out in Hillcrest RV Resort, 4421 Lane Road, according to a Pasco Sheriff's report.
The teens set fire to the unoccupied mobile home in lot 205A and the blaze damaged the adjacent home, the report states. They torched an unoccupied vehicle nearby that burned so much deputies could not identify its make or model for the report.
Later, they found a travel trailer, also unoccupied, near a storage area south of the park. They set it ablaze, too.
Deputies later found the teens at the nearby Rainbow Village Carefree RV Resort. They walked along with a bicycle that had been reported stolen from Hillcrest RV Resort.
The three were arrested on charges of arson and loitering and prowling.
Burton remained at the Land O'Lakes jail Monday in lieu of $150,250 bail. The other two teens were taken to the juvenile assessment center.
