TAMPA — A man and woman were arrested Sunday night after police say they robbed a Tampa Walmart at knifepoint.

About 6:10 p.m., Larry Lee Johnson, 48, and Lizette Sepulveda, 27, tried to steal a Dell computer valued at about $500 from the 1550 N Dale Mabry Highway Walmart, according to an arrest affidavit.

The two took the computer to the garden center and passed it over the fence, where their getaway car, a 2001 Dodge van, was waiting, reports show. When a security guard tried to stop them, Johnson threatened her with a knife, according to reports.

Police said the incident was recorded on a store surveillance video.

The security guard gave police a description of the suspects and the van, which was seen in Sulphur Springs.

Johnson and Sepulveda were arrested on charges of armed robbery and taken to the Hillsborough County Jail, where Sepulveda remains in lieu of $15,000 bail and Johnson in lieu of $17,250 bail. Johnson also faces charges of driving with a revoked license and violating probation from a previous petty theft arrest.
