Two children removed from Spring Hill home where drugs were sold

SPRING HILL — Three weeks ago, two young children were taken into protective custody after the Hernando County Sheriff's Office vice and narcotics unit found them in a home where drugs were being sold.

The two suspects in the case have now each been charged with two counts of child neglect.

Romalice McCullough, 33, and Lineasha Osborne, 25, were arrested last month and taken to the Hernando County Detention Center after a search warrant was served at their residence at 1290 London Ave. According to a report, detectives found numerous narcotics, including large quantities of hydrocodone, oxycodone, methadone and marijuana in the home.

Authorities said the drugs were discovered within easy reach of an 8-year-old and a 6-month-old living at the residence. Deputies contacted the Florida Department of Children and Families, and the children were removed from the home.
