After weeks of incidents in the New Port Richey area, Pasco County sheriff's deputies arrested two men early Saturday morning and charged them with exposing themselves.
Marcus Alan Harris, 30, of Holiday, is charged with indecent exposure for flashing himself on a public transit bus on Feb. 20, deputies said.
That incident, in which deputies say Harris masturbated while looking at a female passenger, was captured on a bus security camera. The victim notified the driver, but she did not immediately contact deputies to file a complaint. She came forward after a news conference earlier this week.
Jarvis Boatwright, 26, of Holiday, is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and public exhibition in connection with several incidents.
Deputies believe Boatwright is the man who exposed himself to a 17-year-old girl in the Regency Park Library on Feb. 27 and was removed from the RaceTrac gas station at U.S. 19 and Fox Hollow Drive after he was caught masturbating in the store on March 9. He is also the man who approached a stranger's home on Crabtree Lane in the Embassy Hills subdivision on March 12, deputies said. When the resident asked the man what he was doing behind her home, the man pulled down his pants and began to masturbate.
Deputies also believe Boatwright is responsible for the latest incident when a man went to pay for an item Sunday at the Dollar General store at U.S. 19 and Fox Hollow Drive, and exposed himself to a clerk at the counter.
The arrests took place around 1 a.m. Saturday. Boatwright is also charged with drug possession. Both men are being held in the Land O' Lakes jail.
