Two suspects charged in robbery of Tampa Zaxby's

TAMPA — Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies have charged two suspects in the Aug. 18 armed robbery of a Zaxby's restaurant.

Vincent Luke Governor, 20, and Javoris T. Troupe, 21, wore masks and gloves as they came in through a back door at a Zaxby's in Valrico, deputies said. Employees were cleaning the closed restaurant at 2028 Highway 60 E as the suspects from Tampa came in with a handgun and a long-barrel gun, deputies said.

Deputies said the suspects left after 10 p.m. with an undisclosed amount of money. No employees were injured.

Governor is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was already in jail Thursday on unrelated charges from a Tampa police case.
