ST. PETERSBURG — Two men were wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Police responding to a call of a shooting around 4:40 p.m. near the 4600 block of 11th Avenue S found Eric Blue, 44, had been wounded.
They later learned Blue was actually shot on 14th Avenue S but traveled to a residence on 11th Avenue S to report the incident, police said. He was transported to a local hospital.
Later, Weston Coleman, 51, turned up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, police said. Neither injury is considered life-threatening.
Police believe the two injuries are from the same incident and does not appear to be random, but an investigation is ongoing.
