What are the statistics behind college rapes?

When a star quarterback (Jameis Winston) is accused of rape during his team's (FSU) quest for a national championship, it's national news. But something that doesn't quite stir up a media frenzy is the story behind the story. That's what this graphic is intended to do. These are some statistics about rape that offer insight into this crime that often stays in the shadows because of its nature.
