Zephyrhills bar fight ends in gunfire, arrest

ZEPHYRHILLS — A 29-year-old man was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle after a bar fight spilled into a parking lot early Sunday.

A Pasco County Sheriff's Office incident report says two women got into an argument that turned physical at Cheers 54, 36616 State Road 54. A bouncer asked one woman and her husband to leave the bar, and the other woman and her husband followed, the report said.

As the first couple was driving away, the report says, Terry Rylan Speegle fired several shots at their Cadillac SUV. Bullets struck the vehicle and shattered glass, but no one was injured.

Speegle, of 4737 Fifth St., Zephyrhills, was released from jail Saturday afternoon after posting $10,000 bail.
