Police say man had meth lab in his car
Police arrested a transient Tuesday after discovering what they said was a methamphetamine lab in the trunk of his car.
The Zephyrhills Police received a tip about a possible meth lab in a car parked at the Walmart at 7631 Gall Blvd. They searched the vehicle and confiscated 2.2 grams of methamphetamine, as well as chemicals for the inactive lab, according to a police report.
Kenneth M. Brown, 28, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of methamphetamine as well as the chemicals to make the drug.
He remained Wednesday at the Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
