A man with Alzheimer's died from an apparent drowning early this morning after his body was found floating in a pond in Wesley Chapel.

According to Pasco County deputies, 87-year-old William Wolter was reported missing around 3:15 a.m. from his caretaker's home at 30743 Tremont Drive and found in a nearby pond a short time later.

Wolter recently moved to Wesley Chapel from Georgia, deputies say.
