Silver Alert canceled after Pasco man found safe

PORT RICHEY — An 88-year-old man who was the subject of a Silver Alert after he went missing from his Port Richey home was found safe late Saturday in Manatee County.

Authorities Vincent D'Eletto at the pier in Anna Maria Island, according to Pasco County sheriff's officials. He was in good health. Authorities said he suffers from dementia. Deputies issued a Silver Alert Saturday night for D'Eletto after he was last seen about 4 p.m. at 11302 Versailles Lane.

He left his home in a 2007 white four-door Mercury Montego, authorities said. His family thought he might have gotten lost and been unable to find his way home.
