Deputies look for suspect in Monday bank robbery in Brandon

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a suspect in the Monday robbery of a Chase Bank on Causeway Boulevard in Brandon.

Deputies identified the suspect as Christopher M. Nelson, 42, but did not give an address or city where he is believed to live. He is described as white, about 5-feet-8 and weighing 150-160 pounds, or slim built. He has green eyes, salt-and-pepper hair, a mustache and small patch of hair below his lower lip.

Authorities say Nelson was last seen wearing a light-colored Auburn University baseball cap, a long-sleeved blue fleece shirt, blue jeans and white athletic shoes. He may be driving a faded black Ford Explorer or Edition with Florida license tag number 2086IQ.
