Deputies searching for missing Palm Harbor man

PALM HARBOR — Deputies were searching Monday for a 66-year-old man reported missing in Palm Harbor, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Edmund C. Giers was reported missing Saturday after his wife told deputies he had left in a Geo Prizm, license tag number H951UJ, and never returned to their home on Knoll St East.

Giers is 5-foot-11-inches tall and weighs about 176 pounds. He has green eyes and gray hair, deputies said. He is not fluent in English, but can speak Polish.

Anyone with information on Giers' whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (727)582-6200.
