SPRING HILL — Sheriff's deputies arrested a 17-year-old boy they say stabbed and killed his mother's boyfriend Sunday afternoon.
David Floyd, 39, died at a hospital Sunday night.
The teen, who lived with his mother and her boyfriend at 10036 Hayes St., at first fled the house after arguing with Floyd, deputies said.
When he returned around 3:20 p.m., he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Floyd in the chest, deputies said.
The teen, whose name wasn't released, faces a charge of first- degree murder.
Three children in the house, who witnessed the fight, weren't injured.
