Deputies: Wesley Chapel man exposed himself to 7-year-old girl

Man exposes self to girl, 7, deputies say

An 18-year-old man was arrested Thursday after, deputies say, he exposed himself to a 7-year-old girl.

Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 1, Samuel Patrick Hemphill was babysitting the girl and a boy the same age in a Wesley Chapel home, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report states. The boy was upstairs, the report states, while Hemphill and the girl sat on the couch to watch TV.

Deputies say Hemphill exposed himself to the girl and asked her to touch him "multiple times," the report states. The girl refused.

Hemphill, of Wesley Chapel, denied the accusations, the report states.

He was arrested on a charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition. He was released from the Land O'Lakes jail after posting $10,000 bail.
