Dogged deputies

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office's canine unit conducted a training demonstration at L.R.E Ground Services in south Brooksville on Tuesday. The training consisted of an obstacle course to improve the dogs' agility when responding with their handlers to a situation, as well as obedience instruction. Such types of training are required for state certification. L.R.E Ground Services, a company that specializes in foundation repair and stabilization, donated the space, allowing the dogs and the deputies to use an open field on its property.
