Eight women arrested in New Port Richey prostitution sting

NEW PORT RICHEY — Police and deputies arrested eight women Wednesday during an undercover prostitution sting along U.S. 19.

The New Port Richey Police Department conducted the operation with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office's vice and narcotics unit, targeting women soliciting themselves. The investigation lasted from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Five of the arrests were made in the city limits of New Port Richey.
