TAMPA — A fight broke out Saturday night after the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam truck competition, leaving a man in critical condition with a serious head injury, Tampa police said.

Police identified the victim as David Stanaland, 34.

Described by authorities as an "isolated incident," the fight occurred around 10:30 p.m. between two groups walking near Leroy Street and Himes Avenue, south of Raymond James Stadium, after the monster truck show there.

Police have not made any arrests in the incident, said Tampa police spokesman Lt. Lee Bercaw. The investigation continued as authorities tried to determine what happened, he said.
